Joseph J. Jacobi is a skilled trial attorney and a Partner at Hansen Reynolds Dickinson Crueger LLC’s Chicago office. Mr. Jacobi has more than 15 years of experience litigating a broad range of complex commercial disputes before state and federal trial courts throughout the country, as well as before federal appellate courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission. David Mungenast is Of Counsel with Hansen Reynolds Dickinson Crueger LLC. One of the few Americans to have studied law in a Chinese law school, he has an extensive record of engagement with China. He began with two years of graduate school at Fudan University in 1980 which made him one of the first US citizens to live and study in the PRC. In 1985, he became one of the first Americans to study, research and teach law in China at Peking University focusing on commercial transactions and commercial dispute resolution. After graduation and an appellate clerkship, he assisted clients with regulatory compliance, licensing and reimbursement issues in the healthcare industry. In 2007 he began working to develop market research, strategic relationships and partners in the Chinese market. Since that time he has advised numerous clients on both sides of the Pacific on strategic partnerships, legal and regulatory requirements, market positioning and other issues related to successful entry in to the China and US markets. These have included high tech medical device companies, educational for-profit and nonprofit organizations, real estate developers, and manufacturing firms.
